I’m Charlene, fourteen, and not getting any younger. Currently in the ninth grade. I stand at an above average height, which is 5′9″.(175.5 cm) Well, I’m a girl, but I lack feminism. Apparently, I look Japanese and/or Korean. Well, that’s what I’ve been told. I’m Chinese, though. It’s not hard to tell, what with the stereotypical straight black hair, very dark eyes, and “yellow” skin.

I’m literate in Chinese…to some extent. I dropped it after the sixth grade because I found it quite a handful. Now, I’m learning Korean on my own and some day, I hope to learn French. I’m also interested in martial arts, and I want to obtain a black belt. I also want to learn to play the violin. Either that, or the piano.

I love literature, and would definitely consider myself a bookworm. I like reading books whose story lines verge on the realistic. Aside from 400-and-above page-books(my favourite), I enjoy reading Archie Comics. Other than reading, I love stuffing my face, hence my starving myself before going to all-you-can-eat Japanese restaurants. I live to eat.

I occasionally exhibit strange/unusual behavior. I clasp my hands a lot. I constantly find myself irked by people who don’t say “Please”, “Thank you”, “Sorry”, or take my things without asking and then throwing it back. That just screams, “I have issues with rude people!”. I’m also always mentally correcting grammatical mistakes made by other people, especially teachers. It’s a obsessive compulsive thing, although I’m certain I don’t have OCD.

I’m really lame. (”Why did the math book cry? …because he had too many problems! Hahahaha, haha, get it? Math book, problems! HAHAHAHA!”) Rather unfortunate things always seem to head my way, albeit with the probability that I’m just stupid and am always searching for a thousand reasons to dig my own grave.

I share my home with six goldfish and a baby red-eared slider.
I love rabbits, snakes, frogs, turtles, certain breeds of dogs, and fish. Don’t like cats, birds, raccoons(and animals similar in appearance), lizards, most insects, crocodiles, and most bugs. I hope you’re not going to judge me by the animals I like and the animals I don’t.

I also happen to have been influenced by the Hallyu(Korean wave). I appreciate both Korean and Japanese music.

The best movie(in my opinion, of course) that I’ve ever seen is the Titanic. I love Spongebob Squarepants, Desperate Housewives, and That’s so Raven. :) You can also find me on Neopets.
